Come as you are.

New to PYB

Can't wait to meet you.

Our classes are taught in a 90 degree room, so you’ll definitely break a sweat. You’ll flow, work hard, and leave feeling rinsed and renewed. You are welcome no matter your skill level. You don’t need to be “strong” or flexible, to start. You just need to start!

Class etiquette.

Bring your own mat and…

Please bring your own mat, water bottle, towel and props. We do have a water fountain where you can fill your water bottle. We do not sell water at the studio.

No cell phones in the room.

If you have a special circumstance and need to bring it in we ask that your phone is 100% on silent and you are not picking it up inside the yoga room for any reason. You are completely free to leave the room if needed, but we do our best to keep that space free of distractions.

If you’re running late for class…

Please do your best to arrive on time or even a couple minutes early to get settled. Our Elmwood location locks the door when class starts so if you are late there is a chance the door will be locked and you will not be able to get into class.

If you need to leave early, just do so quietly.

Savasana truly is the best part, and we never want you to miss that, but we understand there may be a time when you need to leave early. That’s fine! Please leave quietly, before Savasana so you don’t disturb others during that final rest.

Hands on Assisting

When we are assisting:

Hands-on assisting is part of what we do at PYB to empower you and ensure your safety. Sometimes you may receive hands-on or verbal assists from the teacher. You can always tell your teacher privately if you are uncomfortable with hands-on assists. Your comfort in the room is the our main priority, so please do not hesitate to ask for what you need.
